I would absolutely recommend this apartment for everyone who would like to enjoy Madeira island. Rally nice place within walking distance to the beach, grocery store, couple of restaurants. Canico ist auch ein sehr schöner Ausgangspunkt, um die Insel zu erkunden! Und liegt nicht weit von Funchal ca. Der kleine Supermarkt am nächstgelegenen Kreisel hat sehr nette Mitarbeiter, mit denen man schnell ins Gespräch kommt. Unsere Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich und haben bei Fragen immer sehr schnell reagiert, entweder per Mail oder telefonisch. Wir hatten 2 sehr schöne Wochen! The apartment is spacious and the view on the ocean very pleasant. Nuno is a very friendly and careful host. He gave us very helpful tips and you can ask him every time everything. His suite is wonderful Next time visiting Madeira I would take a second stay there.

Wer ein wundervolles und ruhig gelegenes Apartment sucht ist hier Gold richtig. Das Zimmer war zwar klein aber es war alles da was man für zwei Personen braucht.
Das Zimmer war sauber und gepflegt. Wir hatten zwar morgens einmal Stromausfall aber das war verkraftbar. Ein Gärtner ist öfters anwesend und sorgt dafür dass der Garten immer sehr gepflegt ist. Der Pool wurde auch immer gereinigt und das Wasser war sehr erfrischend. Claudia war eine sehr nette Gastgeberin. Sie schaute oft nach dem rechten und betreute uns sehr gut! The photos are just as presented and the bungalow was very quiet and comfortable. As previously mentioned, there is no wifi in the flat but instead outside on the patio which is a bit inconvenient in the rain but there are a number of places in town with wifi access as well.
It really is helpful to have a car as it is a quick 10 drive into Funchal but a longer wait for the bus, although definitely possible. It is well located to explore the whole island within an hour or two drive. The pool was beautiful; the weather did not encourage us to use it but the area is lovely. Teresa is very knowledgable and kind. Lots of good advice and very generous with her time. She really does look after her guests very well. The Bungalow and garden are idyllic, very quiet and relaxing with a faboulous view out to the "Deserted Islands" on the horizon.
We used public transport to travel around the island, cheap reliable and frequent. We managed to see and do a lot in our week thanks to Teresa's advice and help. The appartment felt like hime, it has everything needed, at the very edge of the touristic zone, close enough to the Via Rapida to get quicly around and far enough not to be disturbed by the traffic. The view is flabbergasting: The last farmer next door gives a great show every morning, feeding his animals. It is a great starting point for exploration of the East of the island. We had a lovely time at Pedro's. The flat is very Chat para ligar con fotos en Quinta Wisse and the balcony has a beautiful view. We didn't rent a car and got around just fine. Canico de Baixo and a beach are within walking distance and there is a bus stop very close to the flat with buses to Funchal that take about 25 minutes.
Pedro very kindly gave us lifts from and to the airport. We couldn't have had a nicer time, even though we weren't very lucky with the weather. The only drawback to the flat is that there is a small farm next door which owns a rooster that crows all night-however, we bought earplugs and a lovely and restful stay in atalaia.

Rent a car, buy food and drinks and drive up to the cottages. Everything else that you could possibly need is there. A really amazing place if you like mountains, walking, peace. We spent three nights at the cottage. Amazing surroundings, close to nice walks, some easy and some more challenging. Rui provided us with a very nice welcoming, and advices about the Area. He was very reactive on any question that we had.

Jonas' place is amazing. It is new and has an incredible view. We spent four nights and we would repeat. Jonas was super flexible with our arrival and our departure, and was very helpful. The only con was the cleaning aspect.
The rubbish bins weren't changed, there were some used contact lenses in the bathroom and in the coffee machine there was a coffee made with Moho. Apart from that it was a perfect stay. Un piso verdaderamente bonito, limpio, cómodo, totalmente equipado y con unas vistas preciosas.

It is super spacious and has everything one could need for a holiday to Madeira. We only wished we could have stayed longer!! Sandro is a great host, very helpful and friendly, he made extra effort and even picked us up from the airport and allowed us to do an early check-in. All the rooms are clean and beautiful, everything was as good in real life as in the pics. Two private parking places go with the apartment, so if you rent a car, or two cars with a bigger company, it will not be a problem to park them. I recommend the place to singles, couples, friends and families, too.
Marco and his stuff are beyond polite and nice. Marco was very responsive from the first message we sent. The place is amazing, with great view, jacuzzi, pool, restaurant with dining and breakfast options if you need it.
For the easiest access I recommend you have a car. We have seen the whole southern part of Madeira with not more than 30 minutes driving to the chosen area. We had a lovely week here in April, the weather was unpredictable but as we hired a car we found plenty to do. The apartment is great, modern, clean and in a great location. The host dealt with our queries very promptly with a smile. The apartment on the 12th floor has an amazing view over Funchal and the ocean, perfect for both breakfast and drinks on the balcony.
